Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Security Specialist with 10+ years of experience. He is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, OWASP, SOC, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products and having good knowledge of cloud security.
Location: Jaipur | Bengaluru
Experience: 8 – 10 Years
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security.
- Developing project timelines for ongoing system upgrades.
- Ensuring all personnel have access to the IT system limited by need and role.
- Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting breach of security drills.
- Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability.
- 5+ years of experience in any cloud security (AWS Cloud Nice to have).
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security.
- Developing, reviewing, and approving the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices.
- Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies.
- Security Incident Management and monitoring, Security Operations, and Cyber Security.
- Vulnerability management and penetration testing.
- Information Security Management, Risk Management, and Asset Security, Network Security, and Security standards, laws, and compliance.
- Knowledge and experience with identifying and understanding the most common application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook.
Nice to have:
- Industry certification from vendors: ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, CompTIA, ITIL, CompTIA Security +.
- Knowledge in Risk and Compliance Management, Operational Models, Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan.
