Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team and drive the implementation and optimization of our DevOps practices. As a DevOps Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our software development and delivery processes, ensuring high-quality releases, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
- Develop and implement a robust DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management processes.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, ensuring continuous integration, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to optimize software delivery processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and networking resources.
- Champion the use of automation tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Define and enforce security and compliance standards across the DevOps infrastructure and processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the availability and scalability of our applications and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps space, incorporating new tools and methodologies as appropriate.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role as a DevOps Manager, leading teams in product development and operations environments.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS and their DevOps services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, or Shell Script.
- Proficiency in Linux operating system.
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies processes.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are a plus.
