Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a seasoned AWS Cloud Engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure for a wide range of applications and systems. Responsibilities:
- Design and build AWS cloud infrastructure in line with the company's requirements and best practices.
- Implement and manage various AWS resources and services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, VPC, IAM etc.
- Implement best practices for cost optimization in the AWS environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Implement and manage automated backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to the development teams on AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Keep abreast of new AWS services and developments in cloud technologies.
- Conduct regular assessments of the cloud environment to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with at least 3 years focused on AWS infrastructure.
- Strong experience in working with core AWS resources and services such as EC2, S3, SES, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, etc.
- Experience in implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in AWS.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in a high-level scripting language (Python, Shell Script, etc.).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
