Sudrania Fund Services welcomes two senior level hires
Rob Naka joined the Sudrania team as Senior Vice President of Client Success.
Robert S. Naka (“Rob”) is an executive with more than 30 years of investment industry experience spanning operations, fund accounting, information technology and administrative services with an emphasis in providing operational leadership for mergers and acquisitions. He has worked at the following investment managers: Pilgrim, ING (Voya), Forward, Salient and Altegris.
Mr. Naka will lead Client Advocacy, a service escalation point and consultantcy aimed to help Sudrania’s clients attain success for their resepective business models.
“I came to Sudrania because of my relationship with Founder and CEO, Nilesh Sudrania” Rob said. He further added, “As a former client, I believe in Sudrania’s vision. I met Mr. Sudrania in 2017 and have tracked the tremendous growth of SFS over these past 5 years. I hope to bring the clients perspective to Sudrania and also encourage them to help themselves within the framework and best practices of our industry.”
Prior to joining Formidium Corp., Rob served as Chief Operating Officer /Co-Head of Operations at Altegris/Artivest where he was responsible for the operational infrastructure of firm systems, processes, and personnel. In previous roles, Rob served as Chief Operating Officer of Salient Partners in Houston, TX and Forward Management in San Francisco, CA, where he was responsible for overseeing all fund operations and the operational merger of the two firms. Additional prior roles include Chief Operating Officer for Anew Capital Management LLC, in Scottsdale, AZ.
Rob’s early career was with Netherland based ING . He held various Operational executive roles during his 17 year tenure at ING that included the acquisition and operational mergers of several asset management entities in North America. Rob attained the position of Chief Operating Officer for the ING Funds (now called Voya).
Rob graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Economics and Political Science. He is a native of Los Angeles, California where he currently lives near his family
George Acosta joined the Sudrania team as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Fund Solutions.
Mr. Acosta will oversee Sudrania’s Real Estate Platform Solutions to assist Real Estate Fund clients in their back-office fund administration. He will work alongside the development team to complete the design of the full end-to-end platform for Real Estate Funds in Sudrania’s Seamless RE module.
“Real Estate Fund Administration is a broken and manual process” said Mr. Acosta, adding “with the guidance of Founder and CEO Nilesh Sudrania and team, we will enhance the Seamless RE platform to be as automated as possible“.
George has 20 years of experience in real estate accounting including 5 years’ experience in real estate fund administration. He holds a CPA with an undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and a master’s degree in real estate finance from NYU.
“This role is integral to building up Real Estate fund administration growth as a new business unit for the company“ said CEO Nilesh Sudrania. Adding, “George will assist with all aspects of building the new business including enhancing the accounting structure and training, assist with designing the software for Seamless RE, help generate sales, assist with onboarding and continual technical accounting support.“
